Facebook’s New “Subscribe” Option {How to Enable Subscription}

Facebook announced this week they are offering a new feature which gives you the option to “Subscribe” to one another’s status updates and news feeds. There are two different classes of subscribers: your friends and everybody else. Your friends are already subscribed to get your updates as they always have, and you, in turn, are subscribed to their updates.

If you choose to allow public subscribers, then those people will only see the content you share that is marked public.

The new setting lets Facebook operate more like twitter by enabling people to “follow” public figures, will have an important effect on sharing, etiquette and the way people connect on Facebook.

HOW TO ENABLE SUBSCRIPTION ON YOUR PROFILE:

Step 1: Login into Facebook.com

Step 2: Open this link https://www.facebook.com/about/subscribe

Step 3: Click on "Allow Subscribers" [see image below]

Step 4:  Then you will get a Popup wind of Subscriber Setting, this is Important part of Subscription.

1. Allow anyone to comment on your public updates: Select YES / NO.
2. Get notified about these new subscribers: Select Any One if you want notification if any one subscribe you, or Friends of Friends Subscribe you or No One for "You not want any Notification of Subscriber".
3. Click OK to Continue...

Step 5: Congratulations you Enabled Subscription Service on you Profile...
