Samsung has announced a set of three new handsets running its proprietary Bada 2.0 platform: the Wave 3, Wave M, and Wave Y.
Wave M
The M in Wave M seems to stand for mid-level. It's a mid-level phone, with an
Wave Y
The Wave Y is an entry-level device. While it has the same processor and features as the Wave M, it has a smaller 3.2-inch screen, and only a 2-megapixel camera. Both of these devices have minimal internal storage, however: only 150MB with a 2GB inbox, but they both have microSD slots.
It's unclear if these are dual-core processors, but we're guessing they are not since dual-core wasn't called out in Samsung's press release.
Wave M
The M in Wave M seems to stand for mid-level. It's a mid-level phone, with an
- 832MHz processor,
- 3.65-inch 320 x 480 screen,
- NFC support,
- GPS, and
- 5-megapixel camera.
Wave Y
The Wave Y is an entry-level device. While it has the same processor and features as the Wave M, it has a smaller 3.2-inch screen, and only a 2-megapixel camera. Both of these devices have minimal internal storage, however: only 150MB with a 2GB inbox, but they both have microSD slots.

The Wave 3 is the most powerful device in the group.

- 4-inch WVGA Super AMOLED screen,
- 1.4GHz processor,
- 800 x 480 screen resolution, and
- 5-megapixel rear-facing camera with auto-focus and 720p video recording, along with a front-facing VGA camera.
- The Wave 3 also comes with 3 GB of internal storage.
It's unclear if these are dual-core processors, but we're guessing they are not since dual-core wasn't called out in Samsung's press release.
