New Samsung Galaxy R features with Video

Samsung Galaxy R is a budget version of Samsung Galaxy S II. The Galaxy R is very similar to its SGSII with a few minor changes.

It features a 4.2″ SLCD display (.1″ smaller than the SGSII) a 1 Ghz dual-core Tegra 2 CPU (SGSII has a 1.2 Ghz Samsung Exynos) and the camera around back was lowered from an 8MP camera to a 5 MP 720p shooter. So the other big difference between this R device and the Galaxy S II is the display. Instead of the brightest in the world Super AMOLED Plus, you’ll be running with a WWVGA Super Clear LCD.

And the Galaxy R isn’t quite as thin as the Galaxy S II. With the Galaxy S II being the thinnest smartphone on the market at 8.49 mm, the Galaxy R barely misses it at a fat 9.55 mm.
